The purchase of eHerkenning has been postponed until the 1st of July for about 24.000 Dutch small businesses. eHerkenning is a security system which can be used to apply tax returns. The decision to postpone the use of this system was made, based on various complaints about the login system by entrepreneurs of private companies. Although it was mandatory to use this system since the 1st of January.
The eHerkenning-system makes sure that there is a secure connection between companies and the government on various matters such as, permits, UWV and tax returns.
