Next year, Ukraine plans to launch the EU Digital Identity Wallet, a European digital wallet that will allow Ukrainians to use digital documents in the EU, and Europeans to use theirs in Ukraine. The Diya team has already tested the service.
EU Digital Identity Wallets
EU Digital Identity Wallets (EUDI Wallet for short) is a digital platform designed to enable citizens and businesses in the European Union to store and verify identity data, access services and make transactions between EU member states. The platform contains legal credentials issued by EU governments.
The wallet will allow users to access online services, store and share digital documents, and create signatures. The main goal of EUDI Wallet is to simplify digital identity verification processes and make them secure, reliable, and user-centric.
