Armin came to the Netherlands thirty years ago as an asylum seeker following the Bosnian war. Growing up, he studied IT and continued on to university, where he got his Master’s degree in Law. Privacy and security have been his field of expertise for over five years now, first encountering it at a law firm where he was working with the ‘Telecommunicatiewet’. His first assignment was implementing the GDPR in a housing association; and the world opened up from there.
When not citing the Breyer-rule or auditing DPIAs, he enjoys repairing old technology, reducing e-waste and advocating for consumer protection.
