Jacoba is an expert and thought leader on Digital Identity who has been leading IAM functions in the financial industry during the past 2020 years. The last ones were the European Investment Bank (EIB) in Luxembourg, which is the financial institution of the European Union.
Before that she was accountable for all digital user access, including online and mobile banking and employee access within ABNAMRO and fulfilled comparable roles within ING and Rabobank International. She was involved with Self-Sovereign Identity (SSI) projects with block chain and is knowledgeable about legislation, relevant for Digital Identity for the financial industry.
Since January 2020 she is slowly preparing for her future life on the French country side…But is still too addicted to the identity topic, so happy to help during short term strategic IAM assignments, sharing her vast knowledge about IAM as a trainer, speaker, writer, and sparring partner. Jacoba is a member of the Identity Next Advisory Board since 2011.
