NOVAY DIGITAL IDENTITY AWARD 2012
eHerkenning/eRecognition is winner 2012!At
IDentity.Next'12, the Novay Identity Award will be granted to the best
new concept or product concerning digital identity. With this award,
Identity.Next and ICT research institute Novay want to recognize and
support new developments and innovations that are shaping the future of
digital identity
IDentity.Next'12 provides a platform for
innovations and innovators in the area of Digital Identity. It gives a
unique insight in trends and developments in innovations in that area.
According
to Hermen van der Lugt, ceo of Novay and chairman of the jury; ‘We need
better solutions to make our digital identity easier, more versatile,
safer and more privacy friendly. With this award we want to stimulate
concepts, products or projects that shaping the future of the Digital
Identity’.
What are the criteria?The submissions for the award will be judged based on the criteria mentioned below:
- Innovativenes
How innovative is the submission, e.g. - technological or business model? - Successfull & how much impact
The jury will also consider expected future impact in case of a new innovation. - Privacy
Is there a positive impact on privacy, has privacy been sufficiently considered? - End-user value
What
is the value from the perspective of the end-user? Also if applicable
the perspective of other stakeholders will be taken into account.
The jury consists out of experts and professionals from the world of the 'Digital IDentity innovators':
- Hermen van der Lugt (managing directory Novay)
- Kevin Cox (founder Edentiti and winner of Novay IDentity award 2012)
- John Hermans (managing partner KPMG Risk consulting)
- Leendert Bottelberghs (Head of Business Development -Marktplaats, eBay Classifieds Group)
Submission
of national and international innovative concepts, project, products or
services was closed on the 19th of October 2012.
